Do you realize that vibrations from stereo speakers can register as speed to a radar?

So the sista' was gettin' down to some MC Hammer . Is that so wrong?

OK, if it was MC Hammer she should be locked up, but you see where I'm comin' from.

We know that's not the case because she was on her cell phone.

Try again.

No I don’t think so.

I look at facts. Maybe some facts I am able to see and some I don’t.

But I don’t always say you hate America or white Americans whenever someone doesn’t agree with me.
I bring up points as to why I feel the way I do. And when I am asked a question I don’t dodge them I answer them.

So no I don’t sound like a broken record. My view doesn’t change so yes my views are the same. I also don’t attack the poster unless the poster has attacked me personally. I am sick of bringing up points and all I get in response is that I hate America. If you don’t have a valid point to add then leave your opinion of who I am or how I feel out of the discussion.

Gee Ron,
aren't you the little judge and jury twinn pack!
Have you ever heard of the idea of innocent until proven guilty?
The woman obviously should never have been pulled over as the equipment has serious technical flaws.
The equipment is not suited to distinguish between speed and vibration. As a matter of fact, the equipment utilizes vibration to determine speed.
Ever hear of the tuning fork?
Ever hear of reasonable doubt?
When will We put our foot down and demand an end to this Facist ,police state???
What has happened to Freedom in the land where we have govwernment agents demanding our"papers please"?
No .Ron, the woman isn't guilty becasuse of what you *think* you saw on video. As a matter of fact, all video is too easily manipulatable to ever stand as "evidence" in any fair and just court.

Well sure, whatever.

Do you deny that she was resisting arrest? I mean it is on the video clear as day.

Also why you might be able to say she was not speeding...Yeah, she blew by a cop in an undercover Cobra:S....She WAS driving on a suspended license...Which BTW is illegal, and grounds for arrest.

So she IS a criminal. We have video of her driving at a speed that appears to be above the limit...So hey, don't write her a ticket, just arrest her for driving without a license.

Ever hear of the tuning fork?

Yes. Like I said I have a working knowledge of Radar.

Ever hear of video proof of a person who is driving without a license and resisting arrest?

Hard to argue with video.

Equipment flaws like a driving w/o a license, a broken tail light and a broken windshield?

The equipment is not suited to distinguish between speed and vibration.

It works pretty well for most every PD in the US. I don't think you know how radar works. Also, did you ever think that maybe the speed was determined using other methods?

Ever hear of the tuning fork?

Yep, doesn't have much to do with anything thats being discussed.

Quote

Ever hear of reasonable doubt?

When you witness someone commiting a crime on video, reasonable doubt pretty much gets its ass kicked out the window.

No, she is guilty because of what a judge and jury saw on video. Duh.

Yep, I sure the cops would spend the money to edit a videotape to convict the assbag in this video.

You said that non-white americans are treated differently by the police, yet provided no facts or evidence to suggest it, while at the same time saying you look at facts.

I think it's valid to say that non-white Americans are treated differently by police, BUT I think the larger picture includes context.

Let's say a rich white kid is pulled over in an area where drug dealing is common. He is going to be treated very differently than if he had been pulled over in his home neighborhood. The difference is that in the drug area he will fit the profile as a buyer of drugs.

Now let's replace the rich white kid with a rich black kid. Is he not more likely to be perceived as a drug dealer in the drug area vs. a drug buyer?

I'm not slamming the police here. I think they look at a larger picture and doubt that it is common to pull someone over simply because of their skin color.

On the other hand, when people claim to have been pulled over because of skin color, the larger context is generally left out.

Actually, I was thinking more of LIDAR. It is pretty popular in my area, as most of the time it doesn't set off radar detectors.

Even if she wasn't speeding, the officer still had two good reasons to pull her over. I doubt that her reaction would have been any different.

You're leaving out the broken tail light and windshield.

But the officer stated that the reason he stopped her was for speeding.
He didn't start writing up the other charges until after he fired mega volts into the poor, defensless,Black woman.
