popsjumper 2 #2 June 17, 2005 I assume that you are indicating Pres. Bush... Excerpted: While President Bush has not asked yet for more war funds, lawmakers included money for military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan in a spending bill the House was expected to approve late Thursday. Or am I missing something? My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. Ron 10 #4 June 17, 2005 1. Nice slam on Bush...However if you READ the artical you will see Bush didn't ask for it. Way to shoot first. 2. I guess you would rather we NOT support our troops?"No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers,
Gravitymaster 0 #5 June 17, 2005 Yeah, lets just pull all our troops out now and spend that money on warm and fuzzy feeling social programs. Then we can pretend there's no threat to us. Gee, I feel all warm just thinking about it.

This is one of the most entertaining logical fallacies there is: A: C is X B: Stop calling me X A: Um... ok... I guess... This is particularly common in the homosexuality threads A: "There are homophobes in the world" B: "You're calling me names!" A: "I am? Who ARE you?" But I guess everyone can play: A: "Bush is an idiot." B: "You're calling me an idiot." A: "You're George Bush???" Nice try, I will give you that but, I agree with what the President is doing and how he is doing it so, ask the one making the original post...........what do they think of me?"America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." I wasn't calling Bush an Idiot because of the article. I think he is a idiot regardless. My blank check statement was made so he doesn't have to ask for more money. Expedience is my only issue, so get it done whatever it takes, just get in done! And I support out troops 100%.
