SkyDaemon 0 #26 May 3, 2005 This is my second post in the Speakers Corner. Wow! This place is intense. What attracts you to posting here? -=Raistlinfind / -name jumpers -print; cat jumpers $USER > manifest; cd /dev/airplane; more altitude; make jump; cd /pub; more beer;
Rebecca 0 #27 May 3, 2005 Boredom. What else? It's verrrry interesting to learn how other people feel about current issues. Plus, sometimes, I learn something. Not often, but every now and then someone who actually knows what they're talking about says something worth paying attention to. The rest is guilty pleasure, like watching the chairs fly on Springer. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk? SkyDaemon 0 #29 May 3, 2005 I can see that :-) It seems primed with a lot of people on edge, ready to leap onto a soap box, and continue all sorts of ongoing battles about a variety of issues. Although I could see how this forum could quickly become a major time sink. -=Raistlinfind / -name jumpers -print; cat jumpers $USER > manifest; cd /dev/airplane; more altitude; make jump; cd /pub; more beer;

It's easy to care deeply about some things. Most of those things care about me, so I'm working on choosing them a little better. christelsabine 1 #31 May 3, 2005 QuotePerfect!! SkyDaemon's first post is turning into a true Speaker's Corner thread!! Where are JohnRich and Christel? (Get used to certain pairs of people on opposing sides of various real or imagined ideological fences going after each other - when this happens, ignore if boring, pull out the popcorn if you enjoy.) Narci, DM, thanks for stepping up to the plate with an excellent "Day in the life of Speaker's Corner" example! (this post is all in good fun) Rebecca, I hear you but feel a little angry beeing named in same senctence likt JR. Made me think.... BTW: Your one eye looks so wonderful! Why don't you show both of them? BTW2: I love men dudeist skydiver # 3105
sinker 0 #32 May 3, 2005 QuoteAnd 90% of YOUR posts are responding to my posts with open insults. I especially like how you chase me around and respond to my posts that aren't addressed to you, don't have anything to do with you, and aren't about the topic you insult me over. I think that qualifies as stalking. why don't you quit avoiding the question asked before, what the f*ck does your name mean? -the artist formerly known as sinker
narcimund 0 #33 May 3, 2005 Quotewhy don't you quit avoiding the question asked before, what the f*ck does your name mean? Oh! Sorry. I responded to Rebecca's question in a private message but always thought it was lame to post, "Answered in private message". Rebecca 0 #34 May 3, 2005 Oh liebe Christel, sei nicht boese!! I was not trying to 'group' you into any sort of association. It just seems that anytime you say anything, anything at all, JR jumps all over it. And to be fair, you do reply and sometimes poke at him a little. It was the first arguing pair after DM and Narci that I could think of... One eye is more mysterious. I could have a matching one, or I could be hideously grotesque! I love men too!! you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
