I love the bit about kids doing more multi-tasking. And using that idea as a reason why parents should be worried. When I was in junior high and high school, I used to watch TV, do my homework, talk to a friend, eat, whatever, all at the same time. If on;y I hadn't, my GPA might have been above 97% Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

Yeah she should be concerned because they will never use multi-tasking later in life. She is justintimidated by what they know and she doesn't. lawrocket 3 #5 March 22, 2005 QuoteThe Democratic senator from New York is bewildered and frightened by all these newfangled contraptions with which kids today amuse themselves. She's the smartest woman on earth. If not the smartest, one of the smartest. Or so I've heard. It may be quite indicative of her attitudes - Kids get what she can't. My wife is hotter than your wife. When she lived in Arkansas (thank God and Greyhound she's gone), she announced that it wasn't fair for kids to have to compete with each other for grades in the classroom. She thought this was too stressful. She wanted everybody to get the same grade. Don't worry. Be happy.
