Quote Intelligence Analyst Sr Job description: Specific Description Conduct all-source research and analysis to identify/issue timely warning of terrorist threats to Department of Defense (DOD) assets. Maintain and update terrorism databases using link analysis and other software tools. Produce finished intelligence including detailed studies, briefings, and responses to requests for information on terrorist groups, networks, capabilities, and locations. Draft terrorism threat level assessments for countries in accordance with DOD directives. Author biographic sketches on key terrorist personalities and profiles on terrorist groups/networks. Assist in establishing, reviewing, and maintaining collection plans and requirements pertaining to terrorism. Contribute to or produce assessments, evaluations, Commander's Daily Updates, high-level briefings, and input to other USCENTCOM terrorism-related products. This position may require deployment (up to 90 days) into the USCENTCOM area of responsibility. This position will require shift work. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. General Position Description Monitors current intelligence of specified targets. Generates intelligence-based assessments for use by tactical operators and planners during mission-planning cycle. Interfaces with representatives from other government and intelligence organizations. Analyzes military operational needs to determine functional and cross-functional military intelligence requirements and their relationship to military operations. Perform resource allocation to identify and accomplish specific intelligence tasks. Provides advice to specific contacts, such as Team Chief, Chief, or Survey Analysis Centers. Develops intelligence exploitation guidance and interrogation strategies. Interfaces with linguists and identifies priority documents critical to the missions. Oversee triage process of all forms of exploitable media captured. Performs a variety of activities in one or more of the following and/or related areas: maintain database on specified targets intelligence, process current and historical data collected, make requests for information to internal and external agencies as needed in support of mission planning, provide source directed requirements to guide exploitations, accompany exploitation missions. Acts as the subject matter expert for all intelligence matters dealing with their specialty. Specialties may include: Political/Military, C4I, Denial and Deception, Leadership/Human Factors, War Crimes, Prisoner of War/Missing in Action, Industrial Analysis, Biological Warfare, Chemical Warfare, Nuclear, Underground Facilities, Procurement, International Affairs/Relations, Geospatial Analysis, Imagery Analysis. Typical Minimums Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
