New Kimber model

Recommended Posts

Kimber has released a handful of new weapons for this year.

One of the cooler weapons is a continuation of the theme of releasing civilian versions of specialty weapons produced for different agencies.

The new Kimber Warrior is based on the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) ICQB/MCSOCOM Det 1 pistol made a bit over a year ago by Kimber. However, the civilian version uses basically the same frame as the TLE/RL and has lost some of the features of the "real" version.

Its still very interesting to see what Kimber is doing with their custom shop, though.

off topic but..... I just walked in the door from picking up my first 1911 A1. A SA Loaded Operator. I mabey should have got the Loaded instead as holsters are rather limited for the operator because of the rail.
I am having a bit of buyers remore. I am hoping after I shoot it that will go away!
That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.

It is harder to find a 1911 holster to fit a 1911 with a rail, but a Sig holster fits pretty well as do some of the holsters made for Glocks. I have a Yak slide by e Galco made for a Sig that fits my Kimber TLE/RL II Pro just right.:D
