that is it. If I found out that my sons friends father shared a bed with my son not only would he not make it to trial it would be a slow and painful death. The only reason MJ is not in jail is because of his money. Any "normal" human being would be playing nice with bubba in jail by now

Hmmm....I sometimes sleep in the same bed with a certain 8 year-old boy. Should I be in prison? Am I a child sex offender? I feel the same way about MJ as most people on here do. I think that it's important not to convict a person of a crime, though, based on your emotional reaction to them.

I also think that when you have some statistic that could back up your emotional reaction, like that 35% people wrongly convicted thing, you use it. When it conflicts with your emotional reaction you seem to ignore it. Just an observation.

Perhaps you already have but why arent' you blasting the kids parents for letting him hang out with a man once accused of child molestation?

Just because you think it's the same as abuse, doesn't mean it's abuse.

I'm sorry that you're more bothered by a person being wrongly acquitted than by a person wrongly convicted. You might feel differently if you were the person being convicted. I think you should rethink what you said about the woman who was convicted for raping the man.

nope stand by things I say. However it does not bother me when others disagree. I think innocent people in jail is a sad thing but it is the lesser of the two evils. If you let a criminal go free and you know he is a criminal then somewhere someone screwed up and same the other way around and I hope that through appeals the innocent person owuld be set free but hope more that the criminal is locked up. It may be mean and cold hearted but I would rather a innocent person die in prision then a child molestor or murderer not be convicted.
