Just curious.

How many of you count SS into your retirement plans?

I have no faith what so ever it'll be there when I retire. I'm 32 now and am making as many other arrangments as possible.

I'm planning for my own retirement without expectations, but hopes, of some supplementation from social security. That'll be my pizza and beer money when I'm greyer....

I work for the school system and have a wonderful retirement plan put in place. I get my statements and I like the amount I'm seeing

Honestly, the education or military system in the US really know how to run their retirement systems. Obviously one of them needs to take over social security.

I'm 22 and certainly don't even consider having any government subsidized retirement when the time comes. I can only hope there is some level of privitization of social security in the coming years, so I can be certain that I will have that money of mine when the time comes.

I got a strong urge to fly, but I got no where to fly to. -PF
