If Bush is such a good president...

according to all his supporters then why does he seem to me the most ridiculed?

All presedents get riddiculed.

How old are you? Seriously...I remember Carter being called a stupid pnut farmer.

Reagan was thought to be stupid, old and senile. He also was remarked to be just "Acting" as the President.

Bush 41 was called a Coward, and do you remember the whole Broccoli bit? I still remember Dana Carter doing Bush "Not gonna do it"

Clinton....Holy shit you are telling me that you don't remember the shit Clinton had?

I think you just don't remember.

As for why there is more Web traffic about it....I mean hell Gore didn't invent the internet that long ago;)

As the web grows more sites are gonna be around. Most sites are going to be about CURRENT events.

my friend, i wish i was a large corporate donor...that would mean that my wallet would be larger for more skydives.

also, everyone gets porked by the govt now and again but you should have seen the conditions in the army when clinton was in office (housing, parts, weapons, etc.), now that's getting porked...:(

is that why i can buy stuff from the U.S. for cheaper than i ever have been able to before, i might be able to afford a jumping holiday to the U.S. next year at this rate looks like he is doing such a great job for your country.just watch your dollar get weaker and weaker as the excuses get weaker and weaker. he is a murderer and needs to be punished severely for his crimes. thousands are dead because of his selfish decisions. when's george the third coming?

Totally agree on all points. The US is a great bargain thanks to cheap labor via outsourcing for corp America's gain and the continued deficit spending. Conversely, we can't travel overseas..... oh well, I'm sure the Repugs will find a way to blame the Dems in the House, Senate and the US Sup Ct - even tho they have control of none of those. [:/]

people that bash bush are either:
1) bitter about the fact that the democratic "team" is doing worse than the bad news bears lately because most of the public doesn't agree with their ideals or;
2)they aren't knowledgeable/wise enough to know that what bush has done in office has been absolutely necessary to prevent larger problems down the road. i'm not refering to those that disagree with the details of how things are done; i am refering to those that don't understand why he has done what he has done.

3) Clear sighted enough to see that a power mad moron is sitting in a good place to turn a fearful nation to facism.
What could possibly go wrong?

Millions were dead because of Sadam. Did you have the same concern for them?

If America is such a horrible place, why would you want to come here to vacation and spend your money?

Put your money where your mouth is, vote with your wallet - go somewhere else.

Clinton, Bush (41), and Reagan were all scrutinized heavily. It was how they reacted to it that defined their legacy in the world.

President Reagan was darn near hated by everyone the first 2 1/2 years in office -- recession deepening, cold war festering, etc. But he was the healing factor for the US in a post Vietnam War woudn, and he instilled a renewed pride in our country, which we still enjoy today. He stuck to his guns. Result: Unprecedented economic growth, the defeat of communism. Indeed, a truly bright shining city on the hill. This was the slow beginning of the Democrats loss of their power base in Washington DC.

President GHW Bush, his legacy will be two fold. One will be his break of the promise to "no new taxes". He couldn't stick to his guns and it cost him. On the other hand, his moderate nature as a politician was critical in the wake of the cold war and keeping the "void" from swallowing the world into another series of conflicts outside of the Gulf War. As it happens, I believe the US was involved in far more than just that conflict during that time he was in office.

President Clinton's legacy will also be two fold. His time in office saw a "globalization" of the economy take hold. Good and bad. The US enjoyed great growth (good), but we stopped "making" stuff (bad). Then there's his personal issues. He was also hot and cold on foreign policy. One minute he's saving the day in the Balkans (good), the next he's doing nothing about OBL, USS Cole, or our embassy bombings (bad). He didn't really stick to his guns because he didn't have a stance on any real issues.

President GW Bush. People hate him because he stays focused on the issues he brings to the table. The Democrats consistently underestimate him. That's what's amazing about it. They still don't get it. He's not the "great communicator", but he is a great leader. Leaders do not need be loved to be great. W's victory in November wasn't as significant as the coattails he had for the congressional seats he carried with him.
So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh
Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright
'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life
Make light!
