Burke is licensed to carry a firearm in Florida and California, but not in New York. Burke was taken to Queens central booking and could potentially be charged with a felony for the incident. The millionaire who claims to look out for the little guy, by making movies about how awful guns are and how America is paranoid, has an armed guard escorting him around, with an illegal firearm! But it's still ironic that she advocates no guns in the home, then turns around and gives one to her adult son. The gun laws they advocate are only intended for us little people, but do not apply to them. They're special. They are more deserving of self-defense then the rest of us... By the way, it is legal to put a firearm in checked baggage on a commercial flight. However, the gun must be unloaded, locked in a hard-sided case, and declared at the check-in counter. We don't know the details of this bodyguard's incident, but it sounds like he carried the gun concealed on his person, which is illegal in New York, and also didn't follow the TSA guidelines for flying with a gun.
