One Commander Sick of Media Distortion on Iraq

Recommended Posts

I appreciate the way this straight shooter details how the media bias and negativity undermines the allied efforts and describes in no uncertain terms how the media is aiding and abetting our enemies through their relentless bias and selectivity when relaying the news on Iraq.

Would you prefer that the US military pull out of Iraq right now and let them fight it out and put up another dictatorship or similar Gov.?

Oh No. How to manage this? :S Impossible to go to a play ground, destroy all toys and simply go back home..

Especially, as right now next war is under construction, the war against Iran. A new play yard to be used as a proof of power.

Oh forgot: Before starting the new game, 40millions have to be busted into the air :S

We just sit and watch.

I'm sick of how people keep distorting or forgetting that important fact! YOU invaded a soverign country, you deserve all YOU get!

So then, using that philosophy, I suppose you also believe that your Aussie soldiers deserved all they got at Gallipoli?

He's right.....the mainstream media does magnify the negative,to spin their Anti-War agenda

Anyone who is willing to look beyond the mainstream media gets the "real" story.About how much good does actually happen, the success stories,ING working with Coalition troops to make a better Iraq.

Or perhaps an acertive, convincing, based on facts, intelligent comparison of good-bad, well thought of response from the left wing?:P

*sigh* like that is ever going to happen....

That's one hell of a tirade from the LTC. Well written given the circumstances under which he wrote it. The leftists here will iggy his points, but such antics on their part won't take away from his argument at all.

'our' enemies?

Q. When did they become your enemy?

A. About the time you invaded their damn country!

I'm sick of how people keep distorting or forgetting that important fact! YOU invaded a soverign country, you deserve all YOU get!

This is just amazing, They became our enemies when we declared war on them and sent our troops in to do battle. Your confusion is illustrative of a broader malaise.

Iraq wasn't sovereign - they willingly signed that surrender treaty in 1991. Losing sucks.

I believe the latest reports from those on the ground show that Iraq had complied with the terms of the 1991 surrender - at least with respect to the pretense given by GWB & Co for the 2003 invasion.

Notwithstanding that, the post-invasion occupation has been hopelessly mismanaged at the strategic level.

It would be a waste of everyones time to tell those who do not want to listen;)

For the people that already have their pre-conceived ideas about Iraq..I wont be the one to burst your bubble:o

Simple enough?
