I don't understand though.....someone asked what I-X could stand for and he replied that I-V could be the piggy toes on one foot and that you could assume that VI-X were the piggy toes on the other foot. Maybe I'm dense, but I just don't understand where the attack was. Hell it really doesn't matter one way or another, but I am a little perplexed....

It's a shame to see Kallend go. IMHO he was a good contributor to SC.

Not really, I read it as the poster saying, well, you are dumb enough and PROBABLY ron would have learned that I-V he learned as "this little piggy". Most likely this was Kallend's assumption. That is one insult.

As far as being extracted, where would you assume that the foot needs to be extracted so he can see from VI to X? I am curious to know.

So people should be banned on account of what YOU read into their posts? Curious.

If I assumed anything, it would be foot in mouth. But that is just me. I dont think my assumptions should be grounds for criticizing someone else.

There was no personal attack. None.

The banning was based on a complete misunderstanding, none of which was John Kallend's fault.

What John posted was civil, and the overreaction (banning) was inappropriate.

Far from what "I" read from posts, it was a moderator that found Kallend's comment offensive and as a personal attack towards Ron.

If you don't find his comment demeaning, is all good, you are entitled to that. An actual moderator found it insulting, so I guess, you are also curious of how he came about it don't you?....it should not be about "me" IMO.

I often like Kallends posts but even though it doesn't matter what anyone thinks (HHs home HHs rules) I think if he should have been banned its for being so obtuse with an insult its confused half of DZ.com

There are several posters who tend to ride the line, and seem to delight in baiting other posters. I think this is a problem. The moderators have had quite a bit of discussion about this. One of our solutions is to crack down on the folks who seem to always be trying to inspire flame fests in this forum. Perhaps it's something of a double standard, but it's a double standard that arises from the individual conduct of the people in question.

If you are one of those folks, and you have been warned via PM by a moderator that you are, expect that you will be treated strictly.
