SkydivingNurse 0 #1 December 28, 2004 Does anyone know if there are any downloadable programs that would let me (on my pc) fly his mighty King Air? I've flown Cessna 182's, Twin Otters, King Air, flown them over Grove City, but I want to fly his plane. and yes, there is a skydiver/parafoil floating around on the net, but it's very hard to control. miked10270 0 #2 December 28, 2004 Which King-Air? Whose? There's no shortage of "A" & "B" king-Airs available... Some freeware & others (more complicated) payware. If you want say... A King-Air A100... but with 1050shp engines, then all you have to do is edit the ".cfg file in your chosen aircraft download. Hope this helps. Mike. turtlespeed 226 #3 December 28, 2004 Could it be that he wants to fly the Mullins KA?I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
miked10270 0 #4 December 28, 2004 King-Air B-90s are a bit thin on Avsim & Flightsim. THere are a couple of very nice C-90s out there... A little editing of the .cfg file to give 750shp engines a'la B-200 should do it - plus, there's paint kits out there for the King-Air. It all depends on if it's to be flown from the panel/VC or looked at. I remember Mike Mullins' K-A as having the basic Collins avionics fit... Sure as hell no-one has done the actual plane for FS9, but a fairly close pilots view equivalent "could" be constructed from the freeware out there. Mike. PS: Maybe there's a challenge for the skydivers or someone at Tennessee... a 1% "MM" K-A B-90 c/w 750shp turbines & open door..!? ianmdrennan 2 #6 December 29, 2004 Oh yeah Skydive Atlanta has one that's almost as fast (about a minute slower with the inside pimping a booming sound system, purple interior and airconditioning), as does (I believe) Titusville but I'm not sure what their interior is like.
