I am in favor of people having the "right to die".

A terminally ill person, who is in constant pain, is essentially being tortured by their own body.

I don't think that it would cause a rash of suicides-by-doctor. Obviously, it isn't too difficult to do it by yourself.

Some forms of this now exist. Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) orders and living wills are a limited method of achieving this.
