As much as I dislike this 'liberation' I don't see any way to verify people's identity without some sort of ID card/passport etc.
How is the upcoming election to be seen as fair and above board without some form of registration?

So yeah, I guess I'm in agreement with you on this one.

Also, without verifiable identification, the troops will be chasing insurgents around in circles for a long time.
