Deuce 1 #26 November 3, 2004 Cheney resigns in two years. Bush appoints Giuliaini VP, Giuliani runs for pres using the power of the vice presidency to campaign. Huge leg-up, that vice presidential aircraft and the other machinery of the office. Hillary will compete for the nomination. It will be very interesting to watch how she behaves during the judicial nomination process for the upcoming vacancies on the Supreme Court. That will really tell how badly she wants the office. Flarelatedad 0 #27 November 3, 2004 Here's my 2 cents. The only way for the Democrats to win is having someone who can compete in the South...with that said, I think Hillary could. Take a look at here voting record in the Senate. Very "middle of the road" on most issues. She has a seat on the SASC, where she has a very strong voice as "pro" military. She has a few issues she is very passionate about, but she like her husband, are plotters. she has her eyes on the "prize", and I think she'll get there. Giulianni has too much baggage. The press he received about his divorce (having girlfriend live in while still married) might turn alot of the conservatives off. Might be a player as VP. Someone to think about for the GOP is Bill Frist. Senate majority leader from Tennessee. MD by trade. Very photogenic and well spoken. From the South. DALAILAMA 0 #28 November 3, 2004 I know from conversations with a personal friend of both that McCain is planning on running as well as Giulianni. Bill Frist would be wonderful. He just did his first Tandem skydive about 2 weeks ago with. As far as having a girlfriend while still married, hell it didn't hurt Clinton!"Dropzone.com, where uneducated people measuring penises, has become an art form"
wmw999 2,600 #29 November 3, 2004 Everything I've read about Bill Frist says that he'd be a good candidate. Even-tempered, and willing to see the good in others. It's perfectly OK to disagree; it's just when one rejects others out of hand, and use those rejected visions to control their own, that they descend into reactive negativism.
