Michele 1 #1 November 2, 2004 In years past, the voter turnout has been between 40-50% of eligible voters. I think that this year we will see a greater number... What percentage do you think will be voting today? I'm thinking between 60-70%. And that's great, no matter how you slice it. The census bureau has only just started giving numbers of eligible voters. Previously the data were based on % of people of voting age, which included non citizens (around 8%) and non eligible felons (about 1%). Also the turnout data has been based on votes recorded, thus excluding all the ballots that were excluded for various reasons (such as, you live in Palm Beach County).... PhillyKev 0 #3 November 2, 2004 Yeah, what's an "eligible voter"? Someone who could legally vote if they are registered, or just registered voters?
