Milo 0 #1 October 26, 2004 I think Clinton WILL help Kerry. After all, the man defeated 2 republican candidates on his own. I think it will keep Kerry in the spotlight and give him a boost, which will result in a solid victory that even Karl Rove won't be able to contest. http://www.cnn.com/POLLSERVER/results/14090.exclude.html
Muenkel 0 #2 October 26, 2004 I think it will help Kerry. I'm not sure it will help him win, but he definitely is an asset to Kerry's campaign. One thing makes me wonder. Does Bill Clinton really want Kerry to win or would he rather Kerry lose so Hillary can run in '08? _________________________________________ Chris

Think of the kind of world it would be with Hillary as President.
Milo 0 #4 October 26, 2004 Quote Keep in mind that Bill Clinton wants Koffi Annan's job. Think of the kind of world it would be with Hillary as President. I don't think the UN would elect Bill if they thought Hillary might be President. If Bill and Hillary's plan is for Bill to be Sec. Gen., I think Hillary will have to renounce any plan for the White House. If the plan is for Hillary to sit in the oval office, Bill won't take the job. I personally don't think Hillary could win, or any woman or minority for that matter. Not based on my personal choices, but based on my view of the US electorate. pajarito 0 #5 October 26, 2004 I think Clinton's appearance will help Kerry. They've already said that people in wheelchairs will walk again once he's in office. Maybe his supported research will be able to grow Clinton a new heart as well. Clinton can be his new poster boy.
kelpdiver 2 #6 October 26, 2004 It's far too late for him to make much of a difference for undecided voters. Best case is higher turnout of the Democrats, which could be worth a point or two in a battleground state. Not enough to produce a "solid victory," but it could be one of the difference makers in a tight race. But didn't he show up for Gore's final drive too? Colorado is looking pretty even, which is bad if the election comes down to a couple electoral votes. The morons there are voting to change their EC rules on the fly which will guarantee litigation from the leading vote getting of the state should he not win the Presidency. happythoughts 0 #7 October 26, 2004 QuoteIt's far too late for him to make much of a difference for undecided voters. Mainly, it's too late for Clinton to do something ignorant. If he was doing a lot of early campaigning, he would be spanking some new talent. They just didn't want to give him the time to f-up.
Nightingale 0 #8 October 26, 2004 I don't think it will make much of a difference for the undecideds. Mainly, people vote on whether or not they like the incumbent. If they don't like the incumbent, the other guy wins. If they do like him, he gets re-elected. However, I do think Clinton's appearance will motivate already decided democrats to get their butts to the polls, which may make a difference overall.
