What will the Liberals use as an excuse as to why they lost the election?

I am curious, do you believe that the Republicans will go quietly to their corner and admit defeat without a battle if the election falls in Kerry's favor?

Yes I do. The Republicans will take the defeat like men...the opposite of how the Democrats dealt with it in 2000.

You actually think the Dems are the only ones with lawyer ready?:S Both Dems and Reps have hundreds of lawyers ready to takle anything that could happen. Please Dems are not the only ones ready to cry election fraud and let loose the lawyers.

Bush will win by such a wide margin, that they won't have any excuses...

I'm voting Kerry...but if Bush wins I hope you are exactly right. We really don't need another 2000. It is so dividing to our country when one side feels that they have not been heard. No matter what party you come from everyone should push vehemently for all votes to be counted. If we don't make sure that all votes are counted and counted correctly our system is a failure.

So you're saying that only men vote republican? That women in the republican party don't count? I doubt you mean that but that's how your post just came across.

You mean they'll take the manly way and instead of disputing the election try to have him impeached for getting blow jobs?

Whenever they lose something, they blame it on something wrong or illegal that they claim the Republicans did.

Yeah, I have to admit you're right. In fact I lost 30 cents the other day when the evil republican ice cream company made their box an ounce smaller without sending me a personally addressed, hand written, notarized letter and just put it on the box. Those bastards!

And I was once wrongly imprisoned by the evil Democrat judicial system when some psycho woman I dated made false assertions that I had committed crimes against her. Criminal conspiracies abound, I guess. Those bastards.

THAT'S funny. But you forgot to use the official "I'm just breaking your balls" smiley. :P

Exactly. I noticed that, too, and did not take it to be an oversight.

>>I have a feeling Bush will win

>Any reason for that feeling?

1. Any october suprise will likely go Bush's way. If it's a scary suprise, he makes people feel safer with his aggressive foreign policies, and can use his usual "the world is against us and we must fight" angle to reassure people. Such an approach works better when people are afraid. If it's good news, it will be used for "See? See? I told you we were winning!"

2. Bush's party has control of several functions essential for the election, including absentee ballots. In a close election this could tip the scales.

3. The incumbent always has the advantage in presidential elections.

4. The best think Kerry has going for him (from most democrat's point of view) is that he's not Bush. That's not such a strong platform; it will be easy to lose momentum on that.

I don't understand, how do you figure this?
People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am

WIDE MARGIN? Funny you! If, and only if! he's going to be reelected, the margin will be..... around what?

Wanna hear a fine little joke?

GWB is so sure about winning the election, he already is starting to dismiss half of his election campaign tricksters.. :S

Why isn't Fox News one of the choices? :D

Oh, the other one that gets a lot of play is the Electoral College. I keep hearing clueless libs hollering "Popular vote!" As if only NY, LA, Chi and a few other hi-density areas matter, and "Flyover Country" is just plain SoL when it comes to presidential elections.

Maybe we should have a parliament instead?
