skydyvr 0 #26 October 22, 2004 Quote. . . Cheney, 63, who has survived four heart attacks, received his flu shot recently. QuoteThen Cheney should have stood in line with the rest of the high risk people that were trying to get them as well. . . . I know several high risk people who didn't wait in line for a flu shot. They simply made an appointment with their GP, and drove on downtown to get it. Is it your honest assertion that Cheney, surrounded by a dozen secret service guards and 50 journalists, should've actually drove down to the free clinic for his shot, or are you just trying to be funny? . . =(_8^(1)

christelsabine 1 #29 October 22, 2004 Quote How many months do you have to wait to get one To wait for what ? If I need one, I simply go and see my doc. W/o paying any penny on that. But that's only to talk about my country and (surely) about the rest here in W-Europe. dudeist skydiver # 3105

We demand an immediate investigation! It must all be Bush's or Kerry's fault.

skydyvr 0 #34 October 22, 2004 QuoteWait for what? A flu shot? WTF do you know about what's happening north of the border? All the wealthy Canadians teaming south in search of timely medical care in the US told me. QuoteWhat an ignorant statement to make. I didn't make a statement, I asked a simple, honest question. Too bad you replied with personal insults, rather than just choosing to just answer my question. I could've learned something new. . . =(_8^(1)
christelsabine 1 #35 October 22, 2004 Of course, I pay my 50 percent of medical health care which is included in the normal social deductions. Flu shots do not cost any additional penny. You just meet the doc and flu will be made. There are ads everywhere reminding folks: Go and have your flu shot!! (Thats beside my additional private health insurance, which I maintain since the beginning of my working career.) Few years ago, there was a certain shortage on flu shots but, never any lack on it. (Epidemic period in autumn) For me it is absolutely impossible just to imagine there could be any shortage in any medicine. dudeist skydiver # 3105
