PUTIN (the commie) Supports BUSH

Recommended Posts

I read this and was quite surprised. It actually seems like
Putin understands the problem. However, Putin, IMO is
screwing up Russia and pushing back to a Communist country, that said, he seems to understand the real
situation with the terrorists.

You two should thank your good fortune that your lives are so sheltered and spoiled that you have the luxury of getting away with being obtuse enough to compare W to Putin, and call him a fascist dictator wannabe. Sure, he's no ACLU poster-boy, but he hardly approaches that level. Give me a call when the black helicopters come for you for your acts of treason and sedition in your posts. Irony, anyone?

As someone who's family escaped to America from Cuba I would find that level of intellectual laziness offensive if it wasn't so damn funny.:S

Ummm - in this country it's still quite legal to criticize the President, even though your patriotism is called into question by the White House when you do so.

I guess I'll be in good company in the black helicopter; according to the latest Gallup poll, some 43% of the electorate think Bush is doing a poor job.

Good for you. That was my point.

I'm no fan of W, but to compare him to people like Putin, and refer to him as any kind of dictator is to make a mockery of those who live in REAL tyrannies.

To say that, means to know something about him. Based on the experiences I made on that site, I doubt there are too many knowing anything about that man.

I do not defend him. But nobody should underestimate him. Not even the US.

Putin could be a heavy stone in someone's stomache. Nobody should forget that.

Just my worthless opinion.

And to say that criticizing the president is tantamount to treason and sedition is a mockery of those who truly understand what freedom means.

Unbelievable. That's what the irony I was referring to is. Again, that was my point. I mention black helicopters, a favorite of conspiracy theorists everywhere, and you think I'm being serious with that line. My mother left a place where those types of comments get you thrown in jail or worse. That doesn't happen here - because its not treason, and the President, as much of an asshole as he is, is not a dictator in any way, shape, or form.

Obviously, criticizing the president is not treason. I wasn't talking about criticizing the president, I was talking about calling him a dictator. You'll note there was no real criticism in the posts I referenced, just lame attempts to compare him to someone who truly is a threat to freedom. Given the conditions that billions in this world live under, and given how good we've got it here, calling Bush any kind of dictator certainly isn't treason, but it is willfully ignorant of reality.

No, I was mobilized until 2 weeks ago. But definitely I'm a club member there, not as often as I would like but am.

Blue skies.
