kelpdiver 2 #26 October 15, 2004 Umm...the majority of these "mistakes" are policy choices. Any Republican, and for quite a few of them, Bill Clinton, would be tagged with them. And some of them are patently false. On a different though, this last Sunday's Doonebury was hilarious. And some of them are patently false. I don't disagree. But it's an easy list of 100 things that others could view as mistakes. I just can't fathom how Bush can't come up with one on his own. Or do you also believe that he hasn't made a single mistake since taking office?
kelpdiver 2 #28 October 15, 2004 I believe the question is no different than asking Kerry - "can you describe to us a flip flop you made in the last year and why you did it?" Any response will be on TV in PA in 2 days. My answer - "how stupid do you think I am?"
PhillyKev 0 #29 October 15, 2004 QuoteI believe the question is no different than asking Kerry - "can you describe to us a flip flop you made in the last year and why you did it?" It was asked of him and he answered. He was asked why he voted for the 87 billion before voting against it. His answer, because the first bill rolled back Bush's tax cuts to fund it and the second increased the deficit instead. He admitted that he changed his vote based on the difference in the bills. What is Bush's reason for underestimating required troop strength for Iraq when all of his military advisors told him otherwise?
goofyjumper 0 #30 October 15, 2004 QuoteQuoteHe was asked in April in a news I think his #1 mistake is allowing people with an IQ of under 50 to have free speech and vote... You know what? You must be related to Bush! All you do is talk ignorant redneck S@#%$t! You call people who actually do research ignorant. You probably don't even barley know how to read! You must not believe in the constitution, because to say some stupid remark like that only people who have an IQ of less than 50 are not eligible to vote is saying that freedom only applies to people who have a degree., or in republican terms "only people who have money" **^&%$^^^%$$%&^%$&^%$^%$#, do ya get the message?----------------- I love and Miss you so much Honey! That's not answering the question. That's picking out a perceiving flip flop that really wasn't. He dodged many questions on Wednesday night. He lost a chance at my vote when he gave a BS answer to how he would reform Social Security. His answer - change nothing. So I guess I'll leave that part of the ballot blank. Neither of them have a clue how they can get the deficit down. As for your unrelated Bush question, I'd guess the answer is that we don't have more troops to fit such an estimate. We're struggling with the current total as it is.

He didn't follow through then (didn't even try), why do you think he will follow through now?
kelpdiver 2 #34 October 16, 2004 I made it clear I wasn't voting for Bush, so his non answer doesn't really matter. Actually, he has an answer (move to privitization) that is a valid, if difficult, step forward. But there's been no attempt by him (or Clinton before) to actually make it happen. Even in the surplus days, the excess contributions to Social Security have been a big part of the budget.
