Pro Baseball players show poor sportsmanship, compared to some other sports

I just noticed it this year.

After winning a game, they line up out on the field to congratulate each other!

What the fuck is up with that!

Hockey players, line up to shake hands with the other team, don't they, or is my memory of that wrong?

I just think that is a really poor example to kids. Hopefully kids don't notice it either.

Depends on the circumstance. After a 4 game series, baseball players may shake hands and congratulate. Here, in the playoffs, I doubt they would until after the series is over.

In hockey, they _often_ congratualte each other. Not until a playoff series is over, though. During the regualr season, they typically just retire to the the locker room after the game and wait for the 3 stars to be called out.

No way, I have been watching the Seattle Mariners all year (not an easy thing to do this year), and they always go out on the field to bash fists/whatever stupid secret handshake thing they do to each other.

I really thought I remembered Hockey players passing by each other at the red line after each game. Don't football players go out on the field and mingle with the other team.
