The poll is nations voting with their $$$

So the answer is, "no" you don't have any official evidence or proof...it's just a liberal opinion. Got it, thanks.

What a stupid comment. There is no broad coalition, who needs a poll to tell them that. Who are you going to poll, Texans?

There IS no broad coalition. That is a fact.

That's a stupid comment, even for a professor.
Even you can access a dictionary.:P

Maybe you can explain how the US paying 90% of the costs and supplying over 90% of the troops represents a broad coalition. And how, exactly, is any poll going to make a difference to those numbers?

Well JFK, you mention numbers. 90% of what? How much money? And out of that, how much is each coalition nation providing?

One way or another, the national poll on November 2nd will make a difference.
But then again, some of your friends may show up to vote on Nov. 3rd.;)

Is this an acknowledgement that Bush needs to cheat again in order to get re-elected?:P

Yes. You can Google that, pictures of Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster, evidence we didn't land on the moon and the house Hoffa and Elvis are renting in Detroit.

You only need to read the links from reputable media sources. YOU can manage to filter out the garbage.

As pres Clinton would say, it was an innocent bureaucratic snaffu.

You don't trust Britt Hume?

I don't trust anyone in the media.. Vladimir Putin is locking down the press in his country. That is a communist thing to do I understand but I can see the benefits... Our press is out of fucking control.

As of now, US troop fatalities in Iraq account for 88% of all "coalition" fatalities. This is roughly commensurate with troop strengths.

These figures are not secret or hard to obtain.

You can argue all you want, but this is NOT a broad based coalition sharing the burden with the US. Why? Because GWB was, and remains, totally inept in putting together a real coalition. Maybe he should have paid more attention to Dad.

No such thing.....

If there's no such thing as a reputable media source, where do you get information about what's going on in the world?

As it should be.

Please see the First Amendment to the Consititution of the United States of America.

The only controls I would place upon "the media" is something the Republicans gave away years ago, which is limits on ownership; how many TV, Radio and Newspapers a single Company can own. The concept -was- so that no company could control what information you have access to, but that went out the door years ago and it's not getting any better.

Wanna know who "The Media" is? It's basically 5 companies. That's pretty much it. Five, HUGE, multinational companies that, if you look at them, control just about everything you read, watch and listen to.

Trust me, the heads of these companies -aren't- looking out for the little guy.

The news media is a business... while it shoud be controled by internal standards, its not... Given that, it needs to be controled by the market... news is no longer about unbiased reporting, it is about viewership, or readership...

The only control the government, or government officials have is by choosing whom, or what questions they respond to...

I've read it many times in my life and no matter how many times I read it I have yet see in it where it says it's ok for a media outlet to present the American people with forged documents in hopes of making citizens voting for the candidate they have bias for.

Maybe I need new glasses.
