I think it is interesting, but not really useful as a realistic portrayal of world views. The vote is voluntary, looking at the initial stats it is european christian or athiest white collar young people (25-35). That's not really an accurate portrayal of the world.

Looks like it's done the e-mail rounds in Scandanavia....

I wonder what the vote would be like if it included the billions of people who never have access to a PC. (And presuming those people knew about who was running or indeed that there was even a race).

I think most of these sites will just show that there are more people outside US who dislike GWB enough to 'vote' against him than there are those who care enough about him to express their support.
