John Kerry's New Nickname

You only have to listen to him talk to realize that he is semi-literate

Or maybe just bad a speeches.

The thing is Kerry is a good speaker, but his content sucks.

I'd rather have a bad speaker with good content than a good speaker with bad content.

Then why didn't you buy yours?

Lack of financials, Ron. While I'm not poor, I doubt the meager savings that I'm left with after out-of-state college tuition, skydiving, and cost of living would warrant much more than a "Thanks Buddy!" from my school. ;)

Seriously? I like school. That combined with the fact that my paycheck is directly linked to my tuition makes me work to "get my money's worth".

I'm not saying that people who don't pay their own tuition don't work hard.

I'm am saying that, given the right financial assistance, you can still graduate, even if the only work you intend to do is cut that next line of coke.

From Harvard?...
Not likely. Still wouldn't call him an "idiot" or say that he's only got a "3rd grade reading" comprehension. I understand if you were just venting and saying unreasonable things off the top of your head.

there is a passage in the bible - it mention something along the lines of - Even if thine own hand offends thee, cut it off (Paraphrased) I am sure they meant as painlessly as possible . . .
Voting for Kerry is like setting your dick on a golf tee and letting Tiger Woods go for a longest drive, after inserting a nice glass rod in it.

You don't tend to get an MBA if you have a third grade reading level.

Oh, I think you'd be suprised to learn that it works just like buying a degree off the internet. Just with a slightly higher price tag.

yeah but too bad Kerry having so so so much more money couldn't manage to buy a graduate degree. No he was a C student through his undergrad. And apparently he couldn't buy 500 plus hours of flying either. But mabye you can infrom us on this expensive auto pilot system Bush had in the planes he was flying. Or maybe you can just admit you haven't got a clue what you're saying. You're simply trying to bash Bush like all the other Koolaid drinking liberals.

Well you said it was not much more.

So you don't pay your own tuition? Did you pull strings to get that?

Why do I think schools would tend to disagree?

Face it, you took the easy line and tried to say Bush has the brains of a third grader...When faced with the simple fact that he has an MBA for a very good university (Even though his daddy may have gotten him in). HE still had to do the work.

Him doing the work means he EARNED the degree.

Coke, or no Coke. DUI or not. He EARNED his MBA.

Kerry also earned his.

However I tend to trust Bush more than Kerry. Since Kerry can't stay on one side of a topic, and his utter disreguard for the lives of our soldiers to try and kill a tax cut.

Bush is not the best Potus we have ever had. I believe that there should have been another GOP candidate brought in, but there wasn't. So - yes, Bush should be removed, but if our only choice is Kerry, the analogy above stands true, instead of cutting off the hand that offends - you are mangling your Manhood, and it will hang there infected and useless, and painfull, causing Gangreen and eventually poisoning the entire body.

By saying that my paycheck and tuition were linked, I was referring to the fact that approx. 25% of my paycheck goes to paying tuition, so that I can stay out of that horrible thing called debt. I feel like I work harder because I am paying all of it. If not for me, than who else, you know?

I don't think that it was the easy line. I think it is even harder to defend because of the specific school. However, the degree means nothing unless backed up with equivalent intelligence, and based upon what we've all seen, I'd have to say that Bush is simply incapable at times. I will agree that Kerry has his downfalls as well, but I think that it is completely unreasonable to assume that a degree is equivalent to an earned education and thus, intelligence.

A couple of the Physicians that I mentioned are also not very good at organizing their words and ramble quite a bit. They're also not very good in front of crowds or with working directly with people.

Ok, then tell them not to run for office.

Work in secondary education long enough and you will see it. Right John? I've only been working in education for three years, plus my four years in college and I have seen it and have a story or two.

Do you have any PROOF? Or are you in the habit of slandering people and institutions of higher learning just for fun?

Smart and honorable choice.

You see I don't agree with you. I think he is intelligent and has made some good choices. I will admit he is not a great speaker. I would rather have a guy that I think is honorable and trustworthy in charge than a guy that just is a good speaker.

Ok...so you'd rather have someone leading your country who was very articulate and said everything "just right" (everything you wanted to hear) and looked very attractive to most people and fit the image but didn't have a clue as to how to properly run the country otherwise. I'd rather have someone smart, with internal fortitude, with a moral base, and who I can trust.

That sums up the Democrats pretty well.

They would rather have a good looking, good speaker than a guy that tells the truth.

The truth? You mean, like Bush's statements about the deficit, unemployment, the cost of his Medicare act, his promises on Social Security and nation building, his statements on Iraq that contradict Powell's and those of the general in charge, his statement on veterans' care the same day he acted to cut benefits...

That kind of truth?

Nope. I would want both. The office of the president isn't a typical job, and therefore a typical person/crook shouldn't be running for it. But that is all we ever get.

As far as saying what we want to hear? Hasn't it felt like Bush has taken up the role of Baghdad Bob recently?

Apparently its so safe and going well in Iraq that the State Department can't offer enough money to staff the embassy over there. In fact, the embassy is at roughly 50% of authorized strength right now, despite a bonus of 50 percent or more. Not to mention that a top official from the National Oil Co was gunned down, 45 translators were killed and 300 citizens were killed - all last week. Many foreign companies have suspended operations and even news organizations are finding it hard to get senior staff members over there to report. There is no serious construction going on outside the green zone.

Buried underneath all the stories of the hostages is how they are being captured. Reports have come out that criminal gangs are kidnapping foreigners and selling them to terrorist groups.

Now, what was it that Baghdad Bush was saying about success in Iraq?
