I think it is even harder to defend because of the specific school. However, the degree means nothing unless backed up with equivalent intelligence, and based upon what we've all seen, I'd have to say that Bush is simply incapable at times. Apparently its so safe and going well in Iraq that the State Department can't offer enough money to staff the embassy over there. In fact, the embassy is at roughly 50% of authorized strength right now, despite a bonus of 50 percent or more. Not to mention that a top official from the National Oil Co was gunned down, 45 translators were killed and 300 citizens were killed - all last week. Many foreign companies have suspended operations and even news organizations are finding it hard to get senior staff members over there to report. There is no serious construction going on outside the green zone. Buried underneath all the stories of the hostages is how they are being captured. Reports have come out that criminal gangs are kidnapping foreigners and selling them to terrorist groups.
