Is he ever going to show up for his present job?

Recommended Posts

Kerry didn't show up to vote Monday.

Even though they were voting on TAX CUTS.

You would think that something as vital to his campain as this would be important enough to show up for work.

Oh wait - Why is it that he is paid?

I say all democrats should spend as much time as Kerry does at work. And be paid hourly.

Are you really going down that road?

If so, you might wanna look at how many days the President has been on the campaign trail recently rather than being in the White House running the country and tracking down the evil doers.

The fact is, both of them are campaigning and not doing too much real work in Washington right now.

One difference... the President has a mobile office that he travels in... AF1... he also does not need to be in the WH to do his job... its kinda hard to vote when you are not in the Senate chambers...

Not that I really care that two of the most liberal voters (when they bother) in the Senate have been absent lately;)

No adjustment needed -

See even though he returned the serve as it came over the net the line judge called it out.

see the post above yours dear.:)
Bush can do his job from anywhere. He has a mobile office. Kerry cannot represent his constituancy while he is in Oregon - or Texas - or anywhere else except on the Senate Chambers.

Well folks, it looked like quite a good game, if only...

you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Well this is the same guy who said he doesn't vacation and do other recreational activities because his job as senator and hopefully as president is too important.

Then we see him skiing, sailing, etc... more than anyone we've ever seen.

I am so thankful he doesn't have a prayer at the White House. This country would have been in poor shape with him at the helm with all of his flip-flops and lying.

FYI:

President Jimmy Carter (D) Georgia:
79 Days (over 1 term - 4 years)

President Ronald Reagan (R) California:
335 days (over 2 terms - 8 years)

President George H. W. Bush (R) Texas:
543 days (over 1 term - 4 years)

President William J. Clinton (D) Arkansas:
152 days (over 2 terms - 8 years)

President George W. Bush (R) Texas:
250 days (as of Aug. '03, )

Bottom line its good to be a politician.

Is that days of vacation?
And I wonder if GHW Bush's total actually includes his 8 years a VP, because that seems higher than I remember the jokes...

Or is just days out of the White House? Bush liked being up at the other house, I thought.

But really - go find any non incumbent Presidential candidate from the last 30 years and tell me he spent all his time in the Senate or his state capitol. Good way to lose, and it's not like the incumbent is spending that much more time at work.
