storm1977 0 #26 September 28, 2004 I am calm, but the caffine from the coffee is kicking in!!! All I am saying is bring race into the story everytime there is a difference in race is stupid and inciteful (sp?) If the woman were Japaneese and the COp were white, there would be no discussion of the race card. Too many bleeding hearts in this country for some reason or another feel, or think they should feel guilty for slavery a hundred thirty years ago.... It really wouldn't be an issue, but people really do make it an issue .... usually white people. And FYI the term is Black not African American.... You can't assume they are african because they have dark skin!!!!! ----------------------------------------------------- Sometimes it is more important to protect LIFE than Liberty
kelel01 1 #27 September 28, 2004 I actually typed black first, but I didn't want to get scolded. I've been conditioned. I'm not gonna get into the race argument. It was a counter to Turtle's post. That's all. I'm biting my tongue at this point, though, as I'm finding it very hard not to respond to your post.

JohnRich 4 #32 September 28, 2004 QuoteI guess I misunderstood why you were posting this. I thought you were "outraged" or something. Typically that's what these kinds of posts indicate. Sometimes it's because I'm personally outraged. Sometimes, as in this case, it's just because it's something controversial which I think others would like to see. I think the cell phone lady over-reacted. And the cop over-reacted. But cops don't take well to someone challenging their authority, and once she responded as she did, everything else was predictable and fell into place. I hope that the charges are dismissed, and that she learned a valuable lesson about civility in public.

(IU am Assuming here) that he knew what buttons to push, and in her pregnant state, with all the horemoans flowing - reacted just as he wanted her to to break up the monotany of his day - (or to just piss someone else off like my ex wife did to me on so many occasions.) tunaplanet 0 #35 September 28, 2004 Why play the race card? Just stick to the facts and not assume. You know what assuming does, right? Forty-two
kelel01 1 #36 September 28, 2004 It was simply a counter to Turtle's post. I didn't mean it. My first opst indicated my real feelings on it. Think calm, non-racially biased thoughts.

turtlespeed 226 #44 September 28, 2004 Well as long as I don't have to go naked, a snickers bar would be ok. But if I have to wait for you to show up to work to vote on it, I might as well die of hunger first, cuz now I have all these generators that were packed up with the clothes that i'm not supposed to wear cuz they just aren't that important.I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
