wmw999 2,589 #1 September 28, 2004 Trust me, this post belongs in SC and not Bonfire Everyone has issues that causes their own personal radar to go meep meep meep. I think we can figure some of them out -- some folks with guns, others with Bush. Some of us seem to have radars that go meep meep on people and not issues. As soon as someone that sets off your radar posts something, you see only what you disagree with in it. This is usually followed by several posts between the two in fast succession -- meep meep meep meep meep meep meep meep until someone hijacks the thread, or a warning is issued, or something even stronger overcomes their radar. If you think this might apply to you, look around. Who pisses you off no matter what they post? Imagine what they look like seeking blindly, going meep meep meep on their own, and have a beer. kelel01 1 #7 September 28, 2004 I don't think it's certain people that make me angry . . . it's the manner in which certain people post. Nothing (in real life and on the internet) can make me more angry than when someone twists my words around or puts words in my mouth. Once that happens, the gloves come off. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go check my blood pressure right now.

kelel01 1 #9 September 28, 2004 I guess being a liberal who has to argue with conservatives who consistently put a spin where one should not be might have something to do with it. I know, I know, libs do it, too. I'm one of the biggest believers that ALL politicians are dirty rotten salesmen, regardless of party affiliation or lack thereof. gemini 0 #10 September 28, 2004 Thats a very good point. At the Perris Big Ways several weeks ago Kallend, who I disagree with often, I did not hunt him and he did not hunt me down to argue, threaten, etc. and we had great jumps. Meep meep (wendy is funny) Kallend's purpose here is to poke and jab. And he is funny in a certain way. Enjoy it. Unreasoning vitriol is funny when it's focused elsewhere. Rebecca 0 #14 September 28, 2004 Wendy is indeed funny. So is PK. So is Kallend. What gets me is when you join the forum, make a post or two, and the polarists assume you're all the way on the opposite extreme, and start arguing from that stand-point. It's really hard to convey the tone you're going for without explaning it to death when folks automatically see you coming from a different direction. I mean, I'm so firmly in the middle on most issues, it's pathetic. I think I'm just gonna poke at people without trying to make a point from now on. It's more fun, and more easily understood. Meep mEEp. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
rehmwa 2 #15 September 28, 2004 jab jab, poke poke stand back and watch the faces get red (unfortunately, I do lean to the right on most issues, but when I can, the devil's advocate is always the most fun position to take) ...
