And something else, so funny, a clip showing Jay Lenno (sp ?) reporting that GWB in no way will read KK's book. Question: Why not? Answer: Yes, errr, as it's a book! That's why I enjoy to hear news about GWB: He's always good for a joke! LOL dudeist skydiver # 3105

peacefuljeffrey 0 #10 September 15, 2004 QuoteKitty Kelly is telling Chris Matthews that Laura Bush was the 'go to girl for dime bags' of weed. Way to go George!!!! In the time period when she would have been this "go-to girl," were they even selling pot in "dime bags"? I thought that was only in the late '80s because the price was so much higher then than it was when the Bushes would have been in that age group. Dime bags have been around longer than I have, and I'm older than dirt (older than Chuckie, even). Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money. Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?

happythoughts 0 #17 September 15, 2004 It was estimated that, during the mid 70's, over 90% of the graduating high school students had tried weed once. Average length of use for regular users was 18 months. She sounds normal. What if drug testing was mandatory? Say... every six months. An accurate hair test. What if the results showed illegal drug use and enforcement was required? Would it start to look really stupid? Currently, 20% of high school seniors smoke pot, 50% drink alchohol. Both are illegal, mind-altering substances. Imagine if they were all sent through the court system. 50% of all hs seniors with arrest records.

PhillyKev 0 #19 September 15, 2004 Nothing. Like I said, who cares. He asked for a link so I gave it to him. Frankly, I'm pretty sick of all this ancient shit being brought up, particularly when it's about someone related to the candidates and not even about them personally. happythoughts 0 #20 September 15, 2004 After a fashion, it should be brought up. For the reason that it should be addressed. If 20% of a population is doing something on a regular basis, then they need to make a legal policy decision. Premarital sex. Education, birth control. Drug use. Prevention/treatment or legalization. The problem to me is that history is brought up to embarrass someone politically, not to better society.
