PS: BTW Speedy, I think BeckyBoo may be planning to take you up on your "Bite Me" offer... But you may not like the where and how hard!!!:o.

Bwahahaah!! Nah, Turtle is a sweetie-pie, and a very good singer! I like him bunches, no matter what his political views are. Actually, Mikey dear, you might watch for teeth-marks, calling me Becky-Boo. No one calls me Becky. EVER.

Jes' kiddin' - I won't bite. I like you, too. Just don't call me Becky.

There are dangerous people who were not invited. Even for friendly types, there is a limited amount of space. Security people are in charge of security and maintaining order.

Someone, uninvited, is being disruptive. They are asked to leave and don't, but continue to be disruptive.

What security was supposed to do?
Wrestle her down? That would be a better pic.
Pepper spray her? A better pic.
Held down and handcuffed? More good press.

I don't understand the attitude of some "poor innocent widdle girl being grabbed by some big mean man".

She wasn't some really nice girl getting her hair pulled. She got the reaction she expected and the press notoriety that she was searching for.

It seems to me that she was shown more courtesy than she exhibited.

Have you ever seen a fan running around on a baseball field asked nicely to leave? Read the caption closer: she's still in the auditorium where the President was trying to speak! Since her purpose was to disrupt the proceeding, she probably continued yelling until she was outside. She was under arrest and I think a little hair pull is preferable to getting pepper sprayed.

"Actually, Mikey dear, you might watch for teeth-marks, calling me Becky-Boo."

I'm guessin' that no-one here's ever told Bicky-Becky-booby-boo that I'm a Masochist?:P:P:P

Like some famous guy once said...: "When you're young, you never Really appreciate your schooldays. Stuff like being spanked daily by a middle-aged woman for being bad. Stuff you pay good money for later on"

Dude, look at her face. Does that look gentle to you?

I'll agree that until the full story is known, it's hard to tell who did what & why.

But, she's being pushed and pulled by a much bigger person. She might have heckled, but does that mean this sort of physical contact is OK? He's already pushing her - presumably away, since they're both facing the same direction - what could have justified the additional hair pulling?

Probably something called deep prehistorical conduct, when men used to drag away their wifes? Look at his sardonic grin, he enjoyes it ;)

What a little old Ferkel...

Whatever dude.

People - read:

She was a protester, uninvited and disruptive. Check.

She was asked to leave, and shown the way with hands on her back and arm, to make sure she didn't weasel her way back in. Check.

She was probably still running her great big mouth on the way out. Check.

What purpose was served by pulling her hair? How was that doing his job? WAS that even his job? I just think it was excessive and unnecessary.

And I don't like hair pullers. >:(

Ok, once again. She is trespassing, disrupting the function for all the other people there, standing there yelling, she refuses to leave...

What is the correct procedure for physically removing an obstinate, yelling woman? Where is it ok to touch them? In what manner?

All the supporters of this woman haven't come up with a reasonable alternative. Or is this ok to them? A normal social behavior? Just walk in anywhere and start yelling. :S

>What purpose was served by pulling her hair?

He showed her who's boss! He should have knocked her around a bit, too. Maybe a bullet in her leg would have kept her in line. From Ann Coulter again:

"We need to execute people like John Walker in order to physically intimidate liberals, by making them realize that they can be killed, too. Otherwise, they will turn out to be outright traitors."

Never ever? Not even when, you know ;) ;)

Well, you know, in that case... :$

I don't like it when I haven't asked for it, though. (and yes, yes, yes, fine, she knew the risks, went where she wasn't invited, but that just means she asked to be escorted out and told not to come back)

Two firm hands on both of her scrawny little shoulders would have been enough. Period.

Maybe, maybe not.

Fact - Grabbing her hair worked.

Fact - She left unharmed.

Conclusion - A loud-mouthed, disruptive liberal moron got what she deserved.

FACT?? How on earth do you know any of those things for a fact? Do you need a dictionary?

Actually, her job would have been to give rise to as much commotion as she could. I think that her trying to run away from him, bolting like she did, left him with an easy way to restrain her, using her hair. No harm, no foul. She shouldn't have been there, and she shouldn't have tried to run away as they were trying to get her to peacably leave.

Again, how do you know she ran? And who the hell is he anyway? Not secret service by the looks of him... I hope...

This has turned into an interesting psych test. Give 30 people the same picture and ask them what they see.

Interesting results being drawn on political and gender lines...
