Why won't Kerry sign the form releasing all his military records?



(this has been brought up in other threads, but I wanted to see some get thoughts on this one topic before the uni-thread theory comes into play)

Let's see how many times the words "Bush" and "Republicans/Conservatives" are used in this thread. Mirror tactics are notorious when you put the spotlight on liberals.

Bush has released every single document relating to his service. So the Republicans/Conservatives have stepped up to the plate.

While they may have made an eventual -attempt- at releasing -some-, records were just recently discovered.

To say that the GWB group released "every single document" is simply incorrect -- they didn't find a lot of records and more -did- exist. Who knows how many more exist that no one has found yet?

Bush signed the paper allowing the armed forces to release any and all documents. It's not his fault the military couldn't find them all. I expect there would be gaps in Kerry's record as well. However, I can't find out becuase Kerry has not signed a very simple form.

Think of it this way quade. Let's pretend you and I went to school together. I have some of my work, you have some of yours. Neither of us have it all.

So I sign a form allowing the school to release all it's records on me. All that formerly private stuff is now available for private consumption. It's not every exam I ever took, but it's a lot of stuff.

You on the other hand only release a few papers that you received good grades on. You could sign the same form I did, but you won't.

John Kerry's mood around the office is sometimes atrocious. Often he comes in, walks right to his desk, and doesn't say hello to ANYONE! Moral is slipping.

Anyway, my -guess- is that there is something he doesn't want everyone to know about. Ok, there I said it. Wanna gimme a cookie?

But -what-? WHAT could he possibly not want to be released?

Ooooooohhhh, if I was a conspiracy theory wacko, it'd be something really "good" like he was found guilty of cowardice or something, but that's just silly. Certainly something as "bad" as that would have gotten out over the course of his years and years of public service and attacks by people pissed off about things he said -after- he was out of the service.

So what does that leave?

My further guess -- medical records about his injuries. I'm NOT saying he didn't receive woulds in battle because those record have already been released, but if you look at them closely, you'll see he took shrapnel in his backside. I don't know about you but I wouldn't want my -butt- all over the pages of USAToday.

Then again, that's just a guess about one possibility on my part.

Seriously, it's refreshing to see a liberal actually deal with the issue at hand and not flip it around. What does dealing with the topic at hand do? It makes the post by Quade look sincere. It makes him look honest. It makes the party look a little better.

I think if liberals and conservatives dealt with the issues at hand honestly and sincerely like Quade just did as opposed to flipping the spotlight, mirroring and other tired tactics progress would be a lot further down the road.

He SAID he had done that months ago, but new Bush service documents were released just this week. So that was another Bush lie.

There are still Bush service documents missing.

For the last fucking time. Bush signed the form. If the DOD didn't know where to find them all, then (A) I'm not surprised, it is a monstrous bureaucracy, and (B) it's not Bush's fault.

You act like Bush has had them the whole time and just hasn't put them out there. Why don't you get your story right, or at least get it straight, then try posting something, anything, other than BUSH LIED.

You mean you'll see that he lied when telling people about his medals, because he has claimed he took that shrapnel in his arm, when really all he did was lose his footing and bruise his arm, then suffer what likely was his second instance of self inflicted would through incompetance?

Maybe he doesn't want us to see that he doesn't even have a scar on his ass, and that his medals may be the least serious wounds in combat ever to receive the Purple Heart.
