He won't be laughed off anywhere even if Kerry wins (*shudder*) because there never was any reason for anyone to take his claims to "know" the outcome seriously, and both he and everyone else here have always known it. If I threatened to blow up your mailbox with a tactical nuke tomorrow, and a week later I still hadn't done it, would you laugh at my failure, or realize that I never could have done that in the first place, so it wasn't really much of a failure. Even the laws on assault hinge on whether a threat delivered is credible. If a six-year-old threatens to beat the shit out of a 25-year-old, the police won't believe that an actual assault was committed.
