NBC didn't give an explanation except their camera panned the audience and I thought there was someone down...perhaps fainted from the heat or something. quade 4 #3 September 2, 2004 According to the NPR floor reporter at the time. Supposedly it was a she (this time) and didn't have -any- creditials. The guy yesterday that got within 10 feet of Cheney had valid floor credentials, but (and again this is very early stuff) the one tonight during the VP's speech had none. Edited to add . . .
