He proposes the budget to a congress controlled by the party that he leads. That's some powerful shit. No, he's not alone in culpability, but he wouldn't be able to do half the shit that he has without being in that powerful position.

The wonderful thing abou the US is we have Three branches....One alone can't really do much. And the base of these security problems....Other than the fact that a Government can't really do anything right....Is things like the Patriot act...That last time I checked almost everyone wanted at the time."No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers,

True again. And why I said he is not alone in culpability. However, after everyone passed that horrible piece of knee jerk legislation, the reality of it sank in and some started coming to their senses and oppose it. Bush is still pushing for it while you lable those opposing it as flip floppers. So tell me, who is to blame if it continues?

Bush is still pushing for it while you lable those opposing it as flip floppers. So tell me, who is to blame if it continues? 1. The people who voted it in. I don't want legislators that do one thing, then "Come to their senses". I want guys that do the right thing the first time, not waffle around. Some have said they didn't even read it...Well, then they are stupid fucks and I don't want them doing shit for me if they vote on things but don't take the time to read it. 2. People that use it for the wrong reasons. The act itself is not bad....It provides several ways for the good guys to catch the bad. It can be misused, and that should be stopped."No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers,
