How many protesters were PAID to be there?

Recommended Posts

This was aired on fox - well it could have been aired on other channels - but they weren't covering it - what is the answer?

there's probably no good way to know.

probably not many.

I know that all my new york friends and family are protesting at one point or another. I also know a few people who are flying in to protest. None are being paid.

Why pay people to protest when people will do it for free?

Because they were lacking in protest support?

There -are- professional protesters used by both sides. Usually, these are the people the organizers call in designated to be arrested or other "high-risk" positions. Yes, this actually happens.

Google "professional protester" and see what pops up.

There's several million Democrats in NYC to start with - it's not that hard to get enough of them, esp with college not in session yet.

I do recall that for the "Million" Mom March, our CA senators did arrange some good group travel rates for people to fly to DC. I'm sure some NY groups provided buses to ferry people in from the surrounding areas.

I find it funny that 45% of people think NO ONE was paid to protest there.

Are people really so ignorant?

There is a lunatic fringe (no, not gun owners; read-->) that shows up to protest all the biggest 'establishment' gatherings. They just hate the so-called conservatives a little bit more than the so-called liberals. These people are anti EVERYTHING. Like the greenie said, they're professional protesters.

Yeah, that was on Northwest Airlines. I make it a point to never fly with them because they support gun control idiocy.

Not in NYC. Just heard on Fox that there are 8 Democrats for every 1 Republican in NYC. In a city with 8 million people I'm sure there are plenty willing to protest.

Ok - perhaps you could put it this way -

Lacking in people that believe they should protest, because Bush is right.
