kallend 2,174 #27 August 30, 2004 Quote Kerry cmmited war crimes. Fun huh? The US Attorney for your area is in Tampa, and he is a Republican nominee. Being the good citizen that you are, take your evidence to Mr. Perez and request that he indict Kerry (there is no statute of limitations on War Crimes). Be sure to let us know what his answer is. Has it occurred to you that if there were ANY substance to these silly charges, Richard Nixon would have had Kerry indicted? Nixon set his attack dog Charles Colson to discredit Kerry (which is enshrined in the National Archives on the Nixon White House tapes). Colson was quite unscrupulous, and was jailed for his participation in Watergate. From the famous Nixon Tapes: Colson: This fellow Kerry that they had on last week -- Nixon: Yeah. Colson: -- hell, he turns out to be, uh, really quite a phony. Nixon: Well, he is sort of a phony, isn't he? Colson: Well, he stayed, when he was here -- Nixon: Stayed out in Georgetown, yeah. [edit] Colson: -- was out at the best restaurants every night and, uh -- Nixon: Sure. Colson: -- you know, he's just, the complete opportunist. Nixon: A racket, sure. [edit] Colson: We’ll keep hitting him, Mr. President. By the way, please explain how 9/11 would change GWB's plans for Social Security. Please explain the linkage so that something that had to be dealt with "NOW" (GWB's Convention speech) became suddenly less important than, say, banning gay marriages.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.
