Just noticed this story about canadian beer thieves. From the story:

"They can't sell it anywhere in Canada without giving away the immediate fact that it's been stolen... So we have crooks stuck with 50,000 plus cans of beer that basically they can't fence."

Well, duh. It's Canada. They're not going to _sell_ it.

What ligthweights. For some tax reason, there's a liquor company that distills Kaluaha and tequila in one state and botles it in Ft. Smith, AR. Every day, there's semi tankers with literally thousands of gallons of unadultrated tequila moving southbound down Interstate 540. I always figured that would kind of be the ultimate hooch heist.
