That would be a good point if the Alps were all that cold!! Cold... Fur cold... Is when you've gotta set a fire to burn overnight under your truck so the fuel is warm enough to flow in the morning! At the end of the day, Innuit wear goretex, thinsulate, outlast and artificial fleece if they're popping out for 5 minutes in the summer.... Overnight in winter calls for fur! Mike. PS: I've got a "warm" suit. one piece, ski / storm cuffs at wrists and ankles, Hi-abrasion Goretex, thinsulate liner. It works in a C-206T at 12,000'+ in UK winter with no door (figure minus 30 or more). But it aint furs. God I miss my furs. Should have brought them home when I could.
