Kennedy 0 #2 August 26, 2004 QuoteIn response, the Bush campaign named several Kerry campaign advisers who also represent 527s, including former Clinton adviser Harold Ickes, a member of the Democratic National Committee's Executive Committee and the Media Fund; and Joe Sandler, legal counsel to both the Kerry campaign and MoveOn.org. So, yeah, about that Bush attorney, someone tell me again why the deomcrats were screaming about that, if you can.witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*
Ron 10 #3 August 26, 2004 QuoteThe Kerry campaign subsequently slammed Bush for coordination efforts. In response, the Bush campaign named several Kerry campaign advisers who also represent 527s, including former Clinton adviser Harold Ickes, a member of the Democratic National Committee's Executive Committee and the Media Fund; and Joe Sandler, legal counsel to both the Kerry campaign and MoveOn.org. I must admit that I find this funny. PhillyKev 0 #4 August 26, 2004 QuotePK got a comment? Yep, if it's true, it's wrong. I don't find it funny, I find it disturbing. And once again, two wrongs don't make a right. Just wondering how many of you guys will come out and say that Bush is wrong as well, or will you just add this to your ammunition, use it to blast Kerry and keep pretending Bush did nothing wrong. Kennedy 0 #5 August 26, 2004 I find it funny when either big party slams the other, becuase each is as guilty as the other in most cases. I'm also not surprised the the Dems are slamming the other side while doing the same thing. (I can't "come out" and say it's wrong, becuase I've been against McCain Feingold since before it was law).witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*
Ron 10 #6 August 26, 2004 QuoteJust wondering how many of you guys will come out and say that Bush is wrong as well, or will you just add this to your ammunition, use it to blast Kerry and keep pretending Bush did nothing wrong. Actually my only issue with the 527's has been how you guys have slammed Bush for Swift Boats and used it to try and show how fucked up the Bush side is...Ya know breaking the rules... And how Kerry didn't say anything about Moveon.org or any 527 till SBVFT started to hit him. So I find it VERY funny that the tides have turned. Other than the double standard I see...I really don't care."No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers,
Trent 0 #7 August 26, 2004 At least Bush SAYS he doesn't approve of the 527's. And I won't use it to blast Kerry any more than to say that they should not open their whining mouths when they're doing the same things. It isn't Kerry's fault these guys were working outside the campaign... unless he was supporting them in doing it. Same goes for Bush.Oh, hello again!
