I've had to seperate my two step kids for this behaviour and teach them how to listen to each other and grow up.

So, you want to be a greenie in this forum? You've got relevant experience.

Oh dude. No thank you. I no longer spend the amount of time on this forum to do that. I just happen to have time today. I just hate seeing people I respect bicker back and forth and have stopped any real debate. I hope they try and understand the other's view point at some point.

Any election seems to be the lesser of two evils. I guess people have to decide which evils are important to them and vote for the other guy.

I was venting. It was in hopes that I could wake up a few people.

I'll go back to lurking in this forum.

Gee you responded.

You actually think this is a valuable use of your time?

No, but we do many things that are not "valuble" but are "enjoyable".

I do understand John's points...I don't think he understands mine.

But in the end it is our time to waste.

To be guilty of a crime in the US of A you need to be convicted in a court of law or court martial. Of the candidates, only Bush fits that definition.

But in the court of public opinion, which is what truly counts around election time, Kerry HAS been convicted. Look at the latest polls.

The paper quoted Bush as saying during a 30-minute interview that he made "a miscalculation of what the conditions would be" in post-war Iraq.

He screwed up a lot more than that.

The Times said Bush deflected further inquiries as to what had gone wrong with the occupation.

Ok, so now instead of "Why won't Bush admit he made a mistake", it's "Bush hasn't admitted being wrong on all the things I think he's done wrong."

That about sum it up?

For those of you who don't know anything about statistics. - If average equals 100 and the typical error is 100 +/- 5, the this means "the average IQ = the average IQ" It's a joke.

I am not a Democrat.

If it weren't for the Religious Right and GWB, I'd be a staunch Republican.

No, I mean specifically about post-war (if that's what you want to call it) Iraq. He didn't miscalculate, he blatantly ignored the JCOS. They said it would be a quagmire without the proper troop deployment, but he didn't care. It wasn't miscalculation, it was ignorance and arrogance.

Not at all. There is a worldwide average, and groups can deviate from that. It's perfectly valid to say "the average test score in school XXX is below the average test score for the country by X points."
