Ann Coulter today - on UNFIT FOR COMMAND

Recommended Posts

sKerry made a speech on the senate floor reminiscing about being in Cambodia for Christmas. He wasn't.

A few gems from his website:

"As president, John Kerry will pass tax cuts that benefit all Americans, not just the very wealthy." Sorry lying liberal. The wealthy weren't the only ones to get a tax cut. Damned near everyone did. Including the wealthy, who pay most of the taxes.

"support affirmative action to reduce discrimination" Try again lying liberal. Race based affirmative action is racial discrimination. Support of it INCREASES the frequency of its occurrence.

John Kerry will roll back only Bush's tax cuts for those making over $200,000 a year, and invest those resources in affordable health care and better schools. Specifically, the Kerry-Edwards plan will:

- Provide an immediate tax break for small businesses and family farms by raising the estate tax exemption to $4 million per couple and $10 million per couple for a family-owned business or farm. The estate tax would be maintained for the largest estates.
- Restore the top two tax brackets to their levels under President Clinton.

Anybody wonder why we call him Flipper? The top two tax brackets aren't just for folks making over US$200,000 - oooooh no. Once again he lied.

This dude can't be trusted. At all. Given his primary source of $$, Jack Sweeney and the AFL-CIO, his loyalties lie with socialism, which means he gets no support from me.

There are a few. I'm sure I can find more but I'm tired right now.

He didn't say that the wealthy were the only ones who got a tax cut, just that his tax cut would benefit all americans and not just the wealthy. Gotta read what the guy says, not what you read into it.

Affirmative action is one of the reasons that minorities have overcome decades of hatred and oppression here in the US; it has certainly done its part to overcome the discriminatory effects of slavery on blacks, for example. I think its time has come and gone; we no longer need it. Whether we do is a matter of opinion, not fact.

Kerry has a lot of problems as a candidate. Making up a Michael Moore-like litany of "lies" to try to discredit him makes his opponents look, well, a little desperate. What would you say if someone said "Bush said we'd bring freedom to Iraq, but we're still bombing and killing! LIES LIES LIES! Don't vote for a PROVEN LIAR!" I suspect you'd question his motives.

We live in a socialist country. Public roads, police, guaranteed emergency health care, the CDC, the FAA - all socialist organizations. It is also democratic. It is also a republic. Heck, the idea that we all own national parks is downright communistic. The reason our system works is that it is a hybrid of all the good parts of governments from all over the world, not just a blind allegiance to one type of government. The USSR tried that and it didn't work so well.

I think Kerry can't be trusted either - but that's because he's a politician, and not because he gets support from the AFL-CIO (or the University of California, or Harvard, or Skadden and Arps, or Time Warner, or Citigroup which are his top five BTW.) The question is - which untrustworthy politician do you vote for? The only guy I trust who's running is Mike Badnarik, because I know him from several rec.skydiving posts and emails - but I have a feeling he's not going to win.

The need for AA is possibly up for discussion, however, it is a fact that AA is racial discrimination.

I'd re-check those top five. When you take into account AFL-CIO's donation of paid personnel time and actual $ donated it's by far and away the largest.

It's funny how Bill commented on everything in your post _BUT_ this.

It must not have supported his point.
I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama
