Which Candidates are the Bigger Target for Comedians?

Recommended Posts

With Bushisms and Kerricatures, which candiates do you think comedians would have more fun with?

Personally, I think Kerry would be hysterical for his appearance, stiffness and indecision about what he decided.

GWB because he just has more material to work with.

Kerry -may- say some stuff that is mockable, but he's on the carefully scripted campaign trail so he has the advantage of not having to speak about other things on the spur of the moment.

GWB -has- to also continue on as President of the United States, so, naturally he's speaking on a slightly wider selection of topics on any given day and dealing with things right now.

That and GWB just isn't the most erudite speaker on the planet and prone to minor slips of the tongue. He's just the "funnier" of the two.

Ok, then just watch two television programs; The Daily Show and Dennis Miller.

You tell me which, on a day in and day out basis, is funnier -- not so much the shows themselves, but which candidate gets bigger laughs. And these shows -are- pretty freekin' biased. Then again, they're not news.

I've got to go with Edwards. The man successfully sued the American Red Cross _three_ times. He's an ambulance chaser par excellence. He channels the voices of dead children while arguing in courts of law.

The channeling thing alone puts him way out ahead of the pack, as far as satire goes. "Crossing Over" jokes, anyone?

And I didn't even mention his wife...

Well, I could use a few god laughs, so go ahead and post some of your best, but only go with the ones that target the man, not everything around him.

I'm hoping for a few good W caartoons as well. I don't read the LATimes or the NYPost, so I don't see them that often. :P
