Headline ". . . Bush Eats It Raw"

Recommended Posts

Ok, maybe there is some media bias, but GWB was clearly asking for it. ;) I'm sure it sounded innocent enough when the GOP guys came up with the photo-op, but . . . come on guys . . . think it through!

At least Bush knew what to do with it.

Kerry and his ultra-rich background had no clue what it was. Him and Cruella De Vil just sat there and waved them around like a fucking baton.

Of course this is from the same family who didn't know what chili was.

What is your point? Many people out here in Iowa eat some corn raw! It is good. I also eat raw potatoes out of the garden as well as green bean and peas.

Come on....admit it.......your grabbing for straws.;)

I also like how Kerry decided to run to Iowa and campaign there at the last minute after Bush had scheduled it for months.

Not only did he do that, but he was 45 minutes late arriving to give his speech even though his hotel was right across the street.

Why did he make everyone wait 45 minutes?

Because he wanted to time it so his speech started at the same time as Bush's to take away media coverage.

Another funny thing. Kerry actually wanted to crash Bush's speech and debate him one-on-one unannounced.

Kerry's camp smartly told him it was a very bad idea. They then had to explain why.

Kerry now knows it would have been bad to debate someone in front of all his supporters.

Not exactly the smartest kid on the block. Talk about no grain in the silo.

Raw potatoes contain the TOXIC alkaloid solanine ( C45H73NO15). Eating raw potatoes is NOT a good idea.

Eating cooked potatoes is bad. What the heck do you expect for a root whose sole purpose is soak up everything around and store it. I figure solanine is one of many nasty things.

On the topic of solanine, apples contain a lot of it, too, as do bell peppers, cherries, and tomatoes. Furthermore, boiling is not effective at reducing the concentration of solanine in potatoes. Microwaving can take SOME of it, and deep frying eliminates sme, depending on temperature. The problem is that it doesn't decompose until 170 C in cooked food.

So, raw or cooked, you'll get solanine, professor.

But was he ever in awe of the grocery store price scanner, as Bush Sr. was? You should be careful tossing around that "ultra rich" label.

Well, that's from NIH, and this is from University of Alaska Fairbanks:

I eat corn on the cob raw all the time. It's just as good that way as it is cooked. And I never boil it if I do cook it -- I steam it so I don't lose the nutrients to the water.

Remember Wargames? The kinda flaky mother served raw corn and the father got shocked when he bit into it. :D

Couldn't you JUST...
FUCKIN'...
LET...
US...
ENJOY...
THE...
FOODS...?!

We're gonna DIE, ANYWAY! Why make us worry about what's in our food so we don't even get to fuckin' relax and enjoy it before it kills us?!

'Cause unless there are safe, easy-to-obtain substitutes for all the foods I love that are dangerous, I just don't wanna fucking KNOW.

I would call the Kerry's trip to Wendy's the bad photo op. Ms Kerry did not know what chili was and she ordered a frosty.........but they has already ordered a high priced meal from a local country club! Food with names I can't even pronounce!

But they all do it I guess

The most liberal thing about this is you posting it.

People eat raw corn.....To bad sKerry didn't seem to like Wendy's. Some "Common Man".

Not specifically to you Ron but to the thread in general . . .

I dunno about where you guys come from, but where I come from the phrase "eats it raw" has a different meaning than simply eating a corn cob, although I'll admit that in someways it looks the same.

This is what I was referring to.

I -don't- blame GWB himself. The campaign guys just didn't think the photo-op through to it's mockable conclusion.

Just like the media didn't think when it used that picture of Ms. Bush?

Seems funny when the media only screws one side.
