tunaplanet 0 #2 July 22, 2004 Or you can buy it for 10 bucks. Much better and easier. Forty-two
quade 4 #3 July 22, 2004 Are you saying that killing trees and shelling out $10 is better than just downloading it for free? BTW, I've only read the first few pages, but holy crap, it's good. The first chapter reads like a work of Tom Clancy.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
PhillyKev 0 #4 July 22, 2004 Definitely much easier than clicking a link, too. Plus, killing the trees helps the healthy forrest initiative and the $10 helps to finance Bush's out of control spending
tunaplanet 0 #5 July 22, 2004 Killing trees? LOL, come on, Quade. You're not a tree hugger. You're smarter than them. And as for the 10 bucks? We can all afford 10 bucks. It's a bargain for what you get. I picked it up today. Looking forward to reading it. Forty-two
quade 4 #6 July 22, 2004 "Killing tress" is, where I come from, a term used for printing out documents that could otherwise be read in electronic form. Working for Disney, we killed a LOT of trees in the name of CYA documentation. quade 4 #8 July 22, 2004 I worked for them for 29 years. Had a lot of different jobs over the years. Spent most of my years as a video tape editor working on a number of projects for the entire Company; TV programming, news, cable, advertising. Eventually moved into a management position. This is among the reasons I kinda like to think I know something about news and media in general. Over the years I worked on a heck of a lot of news and publicity so I got to learn how to work both sides of the spin game. Even though I no longer technically work for the Company, they still bring me in as a consultant every now and then for wacky stuff.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
tunaplanet 0 #9 July 22, 2004 Had a good buddy of mine from the Navy that worked for them. Said that back-stabbing was notorious over there. Forty-two
quade 4 #10 July 22, 2004 You have no idea. I coulda/should/woulda been fired a bajillion times had I not had my ass thoughly covered by paper trails. The axe finally fell when some new management came in they just reorganized my department. This happens on an almost annual basis and when your numbers up . . . it's up.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
