I don't think it's going to be as tight as 2000, but I also don't think it's going to be a "landslide" either (unless something really odd happens).

I think it will be a landslide for the right. The left is not organized, does not have 35,000 churches behind it and does not operate as a block. The left will loose, huge.

It's hard to lose huge when 90% of the country votes party lines 45/45, so there is a maximum swing vote of about 10% of the population. If you mean 5% as huge, then possible, but its doubtful. Neither candidate will be able to pull a sizeable chunk of the other party voters to his side. Also, I don't think you mean loose, unless you mean to say the left is about to fall out of its hole.

The right will win in a landslide because the 45% of voters who vote left simply won't show up. Getting us on the left to ANYTHING en masse is like trying to herd cats. We simply don't participate. We have completely abdicated our position and forfeited our rights as a result. We might never recover.

Nope. Not gonna happen. The left has checked out, permanently. We are gone from the political landscape. It's gonna be decades before we come back. I just hope I'm around to see it.

I hope you are right, ah, I mean correct.....sorry. I would be a Kennedy Democrat. I would be a Zell Miller (spelling) Democrat. I don't care what the name of the party is. If they support lower taxes, (40% and lower) are strong on national defense and DO NOT sacrifice our Constitution to the UN or the World Community. Support less government control and regulation I will vote for them.

I agree, it's going to be a very tight race unless something unforeseen happens to swing it either way.
