Any and every report presented should have the data questioned.

This is a blatant attempt to just get to play with the boxes for a while!

This is not only against the whole spirit of the scheme, it's downright greedy.
Remember... "A box is for life. Not just for Christmas."

Taking the piss out of the FrenchAmericans since before it was fashionable.

Oh no you don't.
This is a blatant attempt to just get to play with the boxes for a while! Then, once the "novelty" has worn off you'd no doubt want to return your boxes in a worn out condition and get new boxes, and so on.
This is not only against the whole spirit of the scheme, it's downright greedy.

Ah...see...you didn't clearly spell that one out prior to the attempted bribery with the boxes.

How does a rifle at home prevent street crime?
Extensive interviews with criminals in prison indicates that they know what states and counties (this is US data) allow gun ownership. They say "I am not stupid" and idicated that they do not want to risk their lives where someone may be carrying (on the street) or are armed in the home.
That doesn't answer the question, does it? How does a rifle in the home prevent street crime?
The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.

....and the UN data isn't???? Any report can be slanted to support one's agenda........but I will take just about anything as more credible that what comes from the UN. My main source is the US Buerau of Stistics????? and your main source is?
Any and every report presented should have the data questioned.
Agreed - that's why someone (and me too) asked for a SOURCE for the claim that the per capita firearms murder rate is higher in the UK than in the US.
So far no-one has come up with a source for that claim.
I haven't made any claim so I don't need a source.
Much as you dislike the UN, they do a good job of collecting data, and murders are very difficult to hide.

It does and it doesn't.
If you have a gun in your home, criminals will wait until you aren't home to steal it. You have a job, theirs is waiting until your leave for yours.
On the flip side, remember the LA riots? The Korean grocers who were on video standing out in front of their stores firing into the air.
The police never showed up, consequently, their stores were burned when they ran out of ammo and left. Lessen learned? Have more ammo and aim lower.
Rural people understand that the police are 45 minutes away. Rural criminals realize that their bodies will never be found by the police.

I haven't made any claim so I don't need a source.
Because there isn't one to support your position
Much as you dislike the UN, they do a good job of collecting data, and murders are very difficult to hide.
This statement is a pure joke. I have given you sources and the UN does not even try to hide their agenda.

If you mean this:
http://www.newsmax.com/articles/?a=2000/1/20/115342
It does NOT state that the per capita firearm homicide rate in the UK is higher than in the US. I can't find any other source that you have linked to.
