I am going to explain my position again very clearly so not even Juansky will be able to turn around my words. There is several aspects of this issue. Under the bible a while ago was normal to marry old guys with 13 years old girls. Islam even let you have two (as long as you treat them properly). Your values may not be the same than mine, that is why we have laws. So Morally it comes down to yourself to decide whether it is right or wrong. You still has to obey the law, though. Personally, AS I STATED BEFORE, is wrong. Even if it is only because i wouldn´t do it. You may say it is alright, and i will be happy enough as long as you obey the law. As a side note, my personal rules is that i am not engaging in any sexual activity with a girl whose age don´t follow this equation (my age/2)+7 (i am 28, so 28/2+7, i wouldn´t be sleeping with anyone whose age is not at least 21.) i know it sounds silly, but it gives sensible numbers for any age Please, do note that all this it is consistent with what i have stated before. There is something that we must be aware though. Has any harm being done to the teenager(he was not a child)? I don´t think so. He was not physically raped, and although some people could say that he was to young to consent and that he didn´t understand what was going on (BS IMO) at some point they had sex in front of his cousin who was AT LEAST 16 (he was driving), so everybody knew what was going on. That is why i allowed myself to joke about the subject after 7 or 8 guys had done it before. Juanesky must be in love with me to notice only me among everybody who posted a funny remark. Had any harm being done to anyone even if he or she was over the age of consent (ie. Rape) i wouldn´t have written any joke at all, of that you can be sure. Call it what you want, I believe your insensitivity ot (or lack of undestanding of) the everyday emotional turmoil of teenagers leads you to make some pretty stupid statements. For those of you who remember, this is the Captain stationed at McDill who got drunk and killed that lady and her unborn baby a couple of years back. http://www.courttv.com/trials/taped/piotrowski/background.html Note the name of his victim - Angela Beasley. That name stuck with me, and I just made the connection. That accident and criminal trial happened in Tampa, Florida. Maybe Tuna remembers it. Now, this pedophile gal's name is Debra Beasley LaFave. I tried searching photos for more information about the family or pictures. Could Angela and Debra Beasley be sisters, cousins, etc? Are you seriously trying to imply that I'm a pedophile simply because I pointed out the fact that old men have been screwing 14 year old girls throughout history and that the law in every state sees a difference between statutory rape and pedophlilia. But that ancient book couldn't have possibly been talking about fourteen year olds because it was quite common in those times for men, even and especially men "of the book" to take young wives, yes, often as young as 14 (lots of childbearing years) for god said "Be fruitful and multiply". So, none of your arguments really work except for being childish and blatantly implying that I'm a pedophile just because I happen to know things about the law and the history of the world.
