kmcguffee 0 #6 June 24, 2004 Some other good Franklin quotes that are pertinent, in general, to today: Quote"He was so learned that he could name a horse in nine languages; so ignorant that he bought a cow to ride on." Quote"Would you live with ease, do what you ought, and not what you please." Quote"We must hang together, gentlemen...else, we shall most assuredly hang separately." Quote"There is no little enemy." Quote"Fear God, and your enemies will fear you." Quote"Well done is better than well said." "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Truly remarkable that those who bitch and moan most about big government and government intrusion in their lives are the most tolerant of government intrusion in other's lives. The Bush administration has done more to eliminate personal liberties than any other since WWII, and the self-proclaimed conservatives are in denial.... In case my friend from the far left, one of those who bitch and moan most about Bush, WE NEED TO DEFEND OUR SHORES. I do not have anything to hide. What I have to eat on the flight and where I went and how I paid for the trip. I have no problem with the Gov't doing profiling. If a arab-american has a problem with that....tough! billvon 3,131 #18 June 25, 2004 >well I will not lose sleep worrying about it. But then again I don't hang > with muslim terrorist........ If you are worried may be you do. I hang with a terrorist! Her name is Chris. She's not Muslim, but she can't renew her driver's license due to the Patriot Act, that act that's going to protect us all from the evil terrorists. I used to think she was a pretty cool person (and pretty good skydiver too) but now I realize that some people just don't feel safe with people like her on the streets! Fear does wonders to push one's head ever deeper into the sand. That way the government is not encumbered by the protests of people who feel their rights slipping away. bodypilot90 0 #23 June 25, 2004 well chris is to cute to be a terrorist, however she has been seen with you as for comrad Kallend, he's not cute at all every system has it's faults, but what we are doing is better than pre9-

New evil geniuses (al-Zarqawi) are springing up in the place we "liberated." And what are the positives? We're keeping Chris from getting her driver's license. You really think we're doing better?
