The World after the Fall of the House of Saud?

Recommended Posts

ME Experts/scholars:

What do you think some of the near/far-term effects of the fall of the House of Saud would be? It seems they're already on borrowed time...

We already have "other" friends in the region, in countries that don't house Mecca and Medina...less Fundie Jihad rage?

How much oil do we buy from SA?

I am no where near an expert on the ME but as I have stated previously, I believe the House of Saud is on very shakey ground. The senario is extremely complicated and there are so many if, ands and but's that any meaningful speculation is impossible. My guess is with U.S. Forces in Iraq, that we would probably be forced to invade S.A. I believe this effort would probably be assisted by a U.N. military coalition because of the tremendous economic impact it would have on the global economy. I believe it would be the beginning of a long drawn out war with Iran, Syria, Lebanon siding with the Radical Muslims within S.A. I also believe that Iran is preparing for this to happen because they are now refusing to allow more inspections of their nuclear facilities. I belive Iran will have nuclear weapons by next year. I believe many of the terrorist attacks in Iraq and SA are being encouraged and funded by Iran through either Humas or Hezzbulah.

Whew, as I said, their are many, many senarios and it is difficult to predict what responses the US and the UN would have and how they would affect the outcome. I do think we need to begin preparing for not only gas shortages, but also terrorist attacks in the US and other countries around the world.

Thats my opinion and I'm only speculating. I also hope I'm wrong. I'd like to hear from others too.

I began to understand this when a reporter on the radio commented that he personally had more years of education under his belt than the 3 most senior figures in the House of Saud combined.

Doh!

My advice is to do what your parents did; get a job, sir. The bums will always lose. Do you hear me, Lebowski?

That may very well be true but it's not the reason I think the House of Saud is getting ready to collapse. There are many dissedents (terrorist sympathizers) within the S.A. govt. These forces are working in conjunction with A.Q. in an attempt to force all non-muslims out of the M.E. A.Q. goal is to bring down the U.S. through economic terrorism and will stop at nothing until this goal is accomplished.
